What songs should i learn on Guitar? (Begginer to intermediate)
yup, dont know what i should learn. I can play time of your life (Green day) , black dog (led Zepplin) , Heartbreaker (led Zepplin) , and Slide (goo goo dolls). And right now im working on Taylor by Jack johnson. I would like some suggestions to songs i should learn and good links to how to paly them or tabs. I would really like a good lesson on how to play under the bridge by red hot chili peppers.

Jack Johnson - On and On
$11.98 Personnel: Jack Jackson (vocals, guitar); Merlo Podlewski (bass); Adam Topol (drums, percussion).Recorded at Mango Tree, Hawaii.Something of a slacker renaissance man, prototypical mellow surfer-dude Jack Johnson is not only a BILLBOARD-charting recording artist, but also a world-champion athlete and award-winning documentary filmmaker. On his second full-length album, ON AND ON, the sandy-toed singer/songwriter delivers a bare bones set of acoustic folk rock as soft and soothing as the Hawaiian breezes that serve as his inspiration. As on his debut disc, BRUSHFIRE FAIRYTALES, Johnson serves up a groovy, yet slightly melancholy stew in his trademark breathy voice, which at its best recalls everyone from Steve Miller to Chet Baker to Evan Dando of The Lemonheads. This time around, however, the vocalist/guitarist isn`t afraid to gently stir pinches of reggae, hip-hop, and Harry Belafonte style pop-calypso into his usual hippie jam-band roux. Mario Caldato Jr.`s ultra-sparse, live-sounding production carefully reveals the subtle sadness that lurks behind even Johnson`s poppiest tunes, making ON AND ON the perfect album for a midnight beach party on the last night of summer vacation. $16.01 Personnel: Jack Jackson (vocals, guitar); Merlo Podlewski (bass); Adam Topol (drums, percussion).Recorded at Mango Tree, Hawaii.Drifting from blues to ballads, the barefoot, mellow pop singer`s second album includes "Tomorrow Morning" and an extra acoustic take of "Horizon Has Been Defeated."CD contains bonus track.Something of a slacker renaissance man, prototypical mellow surfer-dude Jack Johnson is not only a BILLBOARD-charting recording artist, but also a world-champion athlete and award-winning documentary filmmaker. Twentysomethings and college kids across the globe often compared Johnson`s comfortable approach to the fiery Ben Harper, so when it came time to make a second album, Johnson basically picked up where the first album left off. On and On is a sparkling sophomore effort, carefully designed to avoid any kind of critical slump. Fans will enjoy Johnson`s soothing ballads and boy-next-door charms, never looking beyond the surface of the songs themselves. Producer Mario Caldato, Jr. (Beastie Boys, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion) hones Johnson`s feel-good vibe, polishing his signature acoustic guitars to wave along to On and On`s genre-blending sound. Johnson gets serious this time, too. He playfully expounds on America`s sickening dependence on material things ("Gone") and its subconscious ill will with today`s youth ("Cookie Jar"). Other views on world war ("Traffic in the Sky") and a capitalistic, business-obsessed way of life ("The Horizon Has Been Defeated") are gently reflected upon without reproach. Johnson doesn`t need to be an aggressive messenger to get his point across; the monumental sales of Brushfire Fairytales make that quite clear. People are listening to Johnson`s musical commentary because he`s on their level. He`s not a philosophical preacher like his counterpart, Harper. On and On keeps things simple in sound and time. Jack Johnson - In Between Dreams
$15.03 A former professional surfer and self-proclaimed beach bum, Jack Johnson is an unlikely candidate for rock-star status. Somehow, however, this everyman`s mellow pop songs seem to tap into a commonly held desire for the simple life. The formula on IN BETWEEN DREAMS doesn`t vary much from Johnson`s previous albums, but is no less engaging--delicately strummed acoustic guitar, round bass lines, and gently funky drum patterns form a comforting bed for the Hawaii native`s effortlessly soulful R&B-meets-folk vocals.Sounding at times like a more laid-back G. Love (without the rap tendencies), Johnson celebrates the simple pleasures and asks the big questions with the childlike innocence that only someone living in a literal paradise could muster. "Banana Pancakes" is a Harry Nilsson-like groover that urges listeners to skip work and enjoy themselves every so often, while "Good People" decries the age of reality television with a poignancy reminiscent of Donovan at his free-spirited best. Perhaps the track that most accurately encapsulates Johnson`s unique less-is-more approach, however, is "Belle," a jazzy ditty that clocks in at less than two minutes and lets a swooning accordion tell the bulk of the story. Jack Johnson - Brushfire Fairytales
$13.15 Personnel includes: Jack Johnson (vocals, guitar, piano); Ben Harper (slide guitar); Merlo (bass); Adam Topol (drums, percussion); Tommy Jordan (steel drums).Surfer-turned-rocker Jack Johnson has composed songs for G. Love and Special Sauce, and is signed to Ben Harper`s manager`s record label, so it`s no surprise that his debut turns out to be the kind of laid-back acoustic funk beloved of fans of both those outfits. What is surprising, however, is the unpretentious way these songs are presented--BRUSHFIRE FAIRYTALES is packed with bare-bones arrangements that highlight Johnson`s catchy way with a lyric, so that when something unusual happens, such as the steel drums that dimly inhabit the background of "Flake," it`s almost shocking.Johnson`s songs are simultaneously well crafted and executed in an almost throwaway manner. "Fortunate Fool" is airy yet acidic--this surfer dude is no airhead--while "F-Stop Blues," on the surface a paean to the surfer lifestyle, is really a lament for wasted time that features Johnson`s pleasant, lazy vocals to excellent effect. BRUSHFIRE FAIRYTALES displays the kind of insouciance born of innocence, almost as if no-one involved cared if the album sold ten copies or ten million--and of course that`s the attraction.
